Ventura County Film Festival Southern California's Biggest Cinema Celebration

The Ventura Film Festival began in 2004 and has exhibited numerous cinematic works, regularly over 200 films during summer months, and has generated excitement within the global cinema community. The Ventura Film Festival's founder and executive director was selected to take part, accompanied by many of Hollywood's leading celebrities, in the 50th Anniversary tribute of West Side Story website and Hollywood's prestigious footprint/handprint ceremony honoring Academy Award winners Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, together with Golden Globe award here winner Russ Tamblyn at the legendary Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This ceremony also acted as the official BluRay release by VENTURA INTERNATIONAL CINEMA FESTIVAL Fox and MGM of the iconic West Side Story, which is widely considered by critics and fans to be the greatest musical of all time. This esteemed acknowledgment and participation demonstrates the festival's meaningful presence and esteemed status within the entertainment community.
